Subject: JOURNALISM...

                                                Journalism
by Richard DePersio, Citizen Journalist and Walter Koskiusko Waldowski

Richard D.: "The gang's all here. Who has the numbers? Our goal is 1300 readers
(visits) over a one month period beginning two weeks ago." Citizen Journalist: I
have the numbers in this precious sealed envelope. Carnac will divine the number."
WKW: "Why is it sealed from us? Who sealed it? Why the mystery?" CJ:
"Sherlock and Ellery Queen for our enjoyment and they sent over a nude women
to open it." RD: I'm confident that our male readers are taking pleasure in viewing
her." CJ: "Open it; open it wide. Oh, no! She's peeing and defecating in public. She
must be an 'Occupy Wall Street-er'! You should be ashamed of yourself, young lady,
I use the term lady loosely. There are children present! Give me that envelope. Wait!
I want to put on sanitary gloves. Drum roll, please. Two weeks ago, we enjoyed
313 and last week, 378. Break out the booze! Our readers are welcomed to join us."
RD: "Why is Cain having difficulty with his 9-9-9 Plan? He should just say that it has
been endorsed by Arthur Laffer. He studied it and deemed it fair and without problem."
WKW: "Anthropologists should cage a few of the 'OWSs' for future study." RD: "My
bank has just begun charging me a $15 monthly fee. Am I angry with my bank? Of
course not. I understand what the smelly ones don't. A year and a half ago, Obama
signed Barney 'watch your back' Frank's Financial Reform which is beginning to
take effect. One component reduced the amount that banks could charge retailers
for using their credit and debit cards. Fed gov shouldn't micro-manage businesses in
a capitalist society. Companies, including, banks exist to make a profit for their
owners or stockholders and to make money to expand, including, the hiring of new
workers. If fed gov reduces what they can make here, they will increase what they
make there. They won't swallow the loss. Consumers suffer thanks to Obama and
Frank." CJ: "OWSs are talking about the 1%. Dago Red: "Hold it! Is article going to
be all preface? Save something for the article proper." RD: "What's he doing here?"
As is our wont, we start with cosmos (which means world) and, then, deal with the
world and 'Offending with Truth' when warranted. (Haven't you gotten a head start?).
The humiliation continues...NASA grounded, we have a $1.5 billion to contract
with Russia - whom, we beat in the moon race - to fly us to the International Space
Station (for which we footed most of the bill) until 2016. Negotiations are underway
to extend it beyond 2016. $1.5 billion for Russia and over $3 billion for development
of private sector flights to ISS. It's $4,5 billion that should be going to NASA. NASA
(taxpayers) shouldn't be giving $$$s to private companies but capital-risk investors
should. The $4.5 could accelerate Heavy-Lifter (test flights beginning in 2017), Return-
to- the -Moon and visit to asteroid (by 2030), Mars Journey (by 2040). The $4.5 could
unable us to achieve these noble goals a few years sooner. (Remember: Virgin
Galactic isn't gambling with your money for their planned space ventures).
NASA is considering a filling-station in earth orbit. Heavy-Lifter would take on
additional fuel. NASA would save money and shave a few more years off of getting
to the heretofore mentioned destinations. We prefer reactivating NERVA/Saturn S-N
programs from the 60s and 70s. Reactivate and further develop - leading to Heavy-lifter
docking unto earth-transfer vehicle (thermal nuclear stage, landing craft and space for
additional cargo) in earth orbit.
MoonEx is a private company which wants taxpayer dollars (we won't see
dividends!) to mine moon. At this web site, see articles on NASA and moon mining.
Sort of archeology: NASA wants to protect sites where unmanned Rangers
crashed into the moon and unmanned Surveyors soft-landed on the moon - needed
before astros landed (preserve manned landing sites) for historical and scientific
purposes. The top priorities are Apollo 11 (the first landing) and Apollo 17 (the last).
WE are concerned: Google is offering a prize of 20 million to private company that
lands a rover on the lunar surface and an additional 4 million if near an historic site.
Those sites have been unchanged. A rover would change the surface - erase foot
prints, for example.
An A.D.D.-break sponsored by Adderall and Southern Comfort (the better mixer):
Impatient, impulsive, distractible, energetic, emotionally needy, creative, innovative,
irreverent and a maverick (we know Brett Maverick). Some psychologists suspect that
Einstein, Mozart, Edgar Allen Poe, George Barnard Shaw, Salvador Dali, Thomas
Edison, Abe and Henry Ford had A.D.D. If true, Citizen Journalist is in good company!
The nearly non-stop Wall Street drummers condemn the super-rich: the 1% who
own 38% of America's wealth. We used to admire successful people. They also pay
38% of fed income tax. The drummers want to 'steal' their wealth for themselves, they
can't be bothered with working hard and earning. The blame the 1% for our economic/
financial ills. The OWSs have been endorsed by the dictators of Iran and Brazil, the
unions, the small Socialist, Communist and Nazi Parties in America. Obama
directs vitriol against them while the hypocrite accepts heavy contributions from
financial institutions. Dictators often blame a minority for problems in a country to
distract from the real culprits. Hitler blames Jews.
OWSs anger is misdirected. Who deserves our wrath? Billy-boy Clinton for starting
the program of giving mortgages to people who couldn't afford them, barney's fannie and
freddie, unions, overspending by both parties and a handful of unscrupulous capitalists.
Our latest proposal (Citizen 'America's Candidate' Journalist has More Proposals
Original/Proposals Endorsed than any other candidate) for saving America: A
Nullification Doctrine as follows: Each state has a governor and a state attorney
general; if both agree to nullify a fed law or reg, it counts as one vote; 35 votes
results in nullification. The remaining 15 can turn the fed law or reg as is or modified
into a state law or reg if they so choose.
Once again, we have run out of space and can't flesh out our tax proposals. We won't
go south of the border and will shoot anyone who moves north into our sovereign territory!
